2009 Survey of Mileage Reimbursements

The 2009 SNPA Survey of Mileage Reimbursements includes data shared by 111 Southern newspapers.

Specifically, the report looks at:

• General mileage allowances for newspaper employees (including sliding scales)
• Separate mileage rates paid for other positions
• How often rates are reviewed and considered for adjustment
• Innovations or changes designed to conserve gasoline or other fuel

Participants in this survey are not identified.

The 2009 report is available only to publishers and human resources directors and may be purchased for $25 by contacting the SNPA office.
