2010 SNPA Salary Survey
Now Available

The 2010 SNPA Survey of Newspaper Salaries has been published. The study includes cumulative data from 112 daily newspapers. Participating newspapers are not identified in the report.

The study results have been sent to participating papers. Publishers and human resources directors from other newspapers may purchase the survey results from the SNPA office.

The study includes data for more than 150 job titles at daily newspapers. The complete study can be purchased for $300 (SNPA member price).

Or, portions of the study can be purchased. The cost is $50 for the statistical section, which includes statistics about newspaper ownership, union representation and non-daily staff, plus turnover percentages by departments, full-time equivalents (by department), cost-cutting measures, off-shore outsourcing and staff consolidations with nearby or sister papers.

Publishers and human resources directors also can purchase any five job titles in the study for $50.

Non-member prices are double the member prices.
